Sustainability:
Scene Change has been a sustainability leader in events since our conception. In 2008, we became one of the first carbon-neutral AV businesses in the world, pioneering low-energy technology, reducing vehicle movements, recycling, and offsetting power usage.
Our team recognises the need to do what we can to protect the environment from potential impacts from our business operations. We have recently partnered with Brisbane based Cabonhalo to enhance our Business Climate Action Program as part of our continued ESG commitments.
Carbonhalo evaluated a number of key emission categories, assisting us to create a roadmap for reducing future emissions not just in the coming year, but for years to come. As a first step, we invested in a Native Forest Regeneration offsets project right here in QLD covering over 19,000 hectares of reforested land. As a result, we are now an accredited BCAP (Business Climate Action Program) organisation.
