LOCATION
Reddacliff Place is located at 266 George Street in the Brisbane CBD, between the Treasury Building and Brisbane Square.
This open-air plaza features a large paved area with ample space for pedestrian movement. Its generous size and robust infrastructure make it ideal for hosting a wide variety of activations, including markets, performances, and large-scale promotional events—far beyond what Queen Street Mall can typically accommodate.
The site offers good visibility from surrounding streets and is framed by iconic architecture, creating a vibrant backdrop for events. Seating areas and shaded spots provide comfort for visitors, while the open layout allows for flexible event configurations.
Vehicle access is also less restrictive compared to Queen Street Mall, making bump-in and bump-out easier for larger setups.
SPACE AVAILABLE
The central area of Reddacliff Place is available for events and activations. Areas directly adjacent to buildings (including under awnings) and areas immediately next to the roadway are not available for use.
An additional area at the end of the bus tunnel, opposite Queen Street Mall, may be suitable for smaller‑scale activations with a reduced footprint.
All proposed set‑ups must be discussed with Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) to ensure public amenity is maintained, pedestrian movement is protected, and surrounding traders are not adversely impacted.
The following conditions apply:
BEDA will provide guidance to support the development of site plans and ensure all requirements are met.
