Networking hubs

Networking events allow attendees to engage likeminded constituents, build valuable connections and create new industry relationships. Networking events matter because they play a crucial role in your conference success.

South Bank Networking Hubs

Brisbane Economic Development Agency (BEDA) has established a partnership with a number of key venues to establish Networking Hubs for conferences held within the South Bank precinct.

Networking Hubs, or ‘Conference Watering Holes’, will establish a location for your attending delegates to gather, engage, connect and relax in a space that is dedicated to your conference. These offerings foster a feeling of owning the precinct, and enhance the delegate experience whilst enjoying the beautiful South Bank precinct.

These activated hubs can be branded with conference signage and present opportunities for product launches, offsite functions, sponsor engagement and social gatherings. Each hub can offer discounts or incentives to delegates, being endorsed as ‘the place to be’ which facilitates a strong sense of community.

To increase networking opportunities (specifically to the South Bank precinct), BEDA has engaged a number of local venues to:

  1. Develop deals/promotions for your delegates
  2. Encourage businesses to display signage to officially promote the business event
  3. Enhance the business event experience
